In April 2017 (close to Easter that year), this site was created to promote a start-up rideshare alternative to Uber in Atlanta. The About & Why page was an overlayed button link on the image above.
And one of my early promotions of that particular rideshare service was posted on May 18, 2017 to a rideshare Facebook group (first two paragraphs omitted and irrelevant info redacted):
Help Me Celebrate!
When I started this site, I had no idea I’d still be writing about rideshare in 2024! What started as a referral site has morphed into an unsolicited Public Service Announcement regarding rideshare.
Since this is the 7th anniversary of sharing GOOD NEWS about a new rideshare competitor in Atlanta (and because I’m really curious), I’m asking YOU to please leave a comment below regarding the content you read, watch or listen to.
Although this has always been an informational site, I spent little time, if any, tracking analytics or site visits. So, until I make that a priority, and because this page won’t be up forever, consider this Invitation to Comment as my seeking validation from visitors who have stopped by, or will do so in the future.
Because commenting on this site has not been made available since 2019, it would be very helpful and much appreciated to know whether anyone actually has:
- read what I’ve written (start here),
- used the invaluable insights and information offered, and/or
- any constructive feedback about the content that is freely shared.
NOTE: Negative comments will be deleted and/or not shown because this is a GOOD NEWS site! Besides, there are other places online where you can express those types of opinions with like minded people. This is NOT that place!

P.S. I’m fairly certain you found value in the content presented here because it doesn’t exist anywhere else. It is my personal experience as a rideshare driver in Atlanta since August 2016. This site was created during Easter 2017 and has found new life since finding HERide.
So, feel free to TIP your rideshare and HERide driver, Anita Johnson. Every moment not “driving for dollars” results in a lot of time to do any and everything, but no money is made immediately. Rideshare drivers are out here for the money. Why else would we drive people from Point A to Point B in the ATL? 🙂
